|March 2010 PIN Enhancement|
Effective March 14, 2010, Manulife will introduce a new requirement regarding Personal Identification Number (PIN) used to access the secure site at www.manulife.ca/GRO and the Integrated Voice Response (IVR) system. Beginning this date, all customers with a four digit PIN will be required to create a new PIN between 8-12 digits in length. This requirement will apply to all plan administrators and plan members.
Customers who have a PIN that is 6-8 digits in length are not affected by this change and will not be prompted to create a new PIN.
This new requirement enhances the security of all customers' personal information and provides added protection against fraudulent activity. Plan members will be notified of this requirement upon their first attempt to access either the website or the IVR after March 14, 2010.
Please note: While this requirement will not take effect until March 14, 2010, customers can create a new PIN at any time. Plan members are able to use the Interactive Voice Response (IVR) system to create a new PIN. You will need to visit the secure site at www.manulife.ca/GRO to do so.
