Changes to Manulife MMF Canadian Equity Fund (Fund Code 7121) Effective November 24, 2012, Manulife Mutual Funds will be closing the Manulife Canadian Equity Fund. As a result of this mutual fund being closed, Manulife Group Retirement Solutions will be changing the underlying fund for the Manulife MMF Canadian Equity Fund on November 16, 2012 to the Manulife Asset Management Canadian Large Cap Growth Fund which does not contain foreign content. Fund Name The fund name will be changing from Manulife Mutual Funds Canadian Equity Fund to Manulife Asset Management Canadian Large Cap Growth Fund. Rate of Return For the Manulife MMF Canadian Equity Fund, historical returns for the Segregated Fund will continue to be shown. A footnote will be added to the Rates of Return Overview, indicating, "Effective November 16, 2012, the underlying fund changed, returns prior to November 16, 2012 were derived from the Manulife Mutual Funds Canadian Equity Fund." Investment Management Fee The investment management fee will not be changing however, historically the Underlying Fund Operating Expenses (UFOE) for the Manulife Asset Management Canadian Large Cap Growth Fund has been lower.
